What you gain by taking part

For teachers

You get a complete guide for running an hour of AI in the classroom and a certificate of participation after you deliver it.

For parents

You get access to the webinar on 11 December where you'll learn how we turn artificial intelligence into an ally for children's education.

For students and schools

You join the global Hour of AI movement with online and offline activities that are easy to implement and suitable for any age.

AI is evolving faster than any technology before it.

Children will live in a world where artificial intelligence is everywhere. The difference isn't made by who has heard of AI, but by who knows how to understand it, use it well and not be led by it.

You don't have to invent everything from scratch. The resources are ready, free and designed especially for teachers, parents and students. All you have to do is sign up and use this wave in children's favour, not against them.

What is Hour of AI

Hour of AI is a guided hour in which students discover what artificial intelligence is, where they encounter it every day and how they can use it to create, not just to copy.

It's not a difficult course or a test. It's a simple, friendly first step, suitable both in the classroom and at home, regardless of your experience with technology.

Why it matters now

AI is no longer the future, it's the present. Children use it in games, homework and apps without always understanding how it works.

Hour of AI helps them move from passive consumers to conscious creators: they ask better questions, think critically and see technology as a tool, not as a shortcut.

Free resources for teachers, students and parents

You have access to activities structured by age and interest: games, classroom scenarios, AI experiments and creative projects that you can use right away, with no complicated preparation.

How do I run Hour of AI

Three simple steps to bring artificial intelligence into the classroom or at home.

1

Choose when and how

You decide whether to run Hour of AI in the classroom, online or at home. You can integrate the activity into a computer science lesson, a homeroom session or a special moment dedicated to technology, no matter what subject you teach.

2

Choose the AI activity

You select a Hour of AI activity suited to your students' age: a game, a creative project, an AI exploration or a guided activity. You can draw inspiration from the global Hour of AI activities.

3

Run the hour and mark your participation

You run the activity together with your students, discuss what they discovered, then request the teacher certificate and mark your school as a participant in Hour of AI 2025.
